I found an old box of wood type at a flea market and was immediately drawn to the craftsmanship needed to carve each letter, as well as the subtle yet contrasting coloration of each letter.
About Glenda Zuckerman
Art has always been a driving force in my life. Whether drawing, painting, crafting, renovating furniture or taking photographs, I have a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Traveling has afforded me the opportunity to gather images that inspire my work. I am inspired by Americana, old signs, vintage toys and vivid colors. I was educated at Binghamton University and received a BA in Art and Political Science. I have studied general drawing with illustrator Neil Waldman, and color pencil drawing with both graphic artist Richard Kenerson and illustrator Alan Reingold.
